The rights and privileges of membership in the Church of the Nazarene are based on the basic belief that everyone must be born again. We require only belief in those doctrines essential to the Christian experience.

We believe in one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the inspiration and authority of the Holy Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

We believe that everyone is born with a sinful nature.

We believe that those who do not repent of their sins are eternally lost.

We believe that Jesus Christ died for all humankind and that everyone who repents and believe in Him is saved and born again.

We believe that believers are called by God to live a holy life.
